Mediation and some issues that challenge global peace
Keywords:
mediation, conflict, global peaceAbstract
At the beginning of this century, we have witnessed important challenges to global peace that the world had achieved in the post-Cold War period. Solutions that have often emerged to manage these challenges are increasingly polarised and not very inclusive of different perspectives. The objective of this reflection is to consider the vast field of action that mediation could integrate in contemporary times to contribute to a more competent and effective intervention in these complex problems and conflicts. Our premise is that mediation as a methodology is not only used to solve conflicts and specific problems but is also a means of promoting a culture of peace in a global context (increasingly) marked by conflicts and wars.
